Someone out there in TV land might have noticed that I've not been around for the last few weeks. That's because my computer (well, both of them now, I guess) is totally FUBAR'ed. Since I'm actually alone here at work without any of those pesky manager types looming over my shoulder, I can let the world know of my pain. Pass it along to all of your friends! The good news is that I'm pretty well caught up with the TV/DVD/wrestling watching and the playing of those video game things. Wait...that's bad news. Now I have no excuses for being lazy. Boo!

I'll be back when I can. Just trying to decide if I want to try fixing things myself. A comedy of errors in the making, I tells ya.

The flurry of Heart Punch activity continues, as I bust out a Video Vault post, just so I can say that we had new content every day for a week. Because that's certainly worthy of merit, right? RIGHT? Two recaps in two days? Perish the thought! What are the odds that I can make it through all six shows without skipping a day? That would be nutty. -Tonight, The Filth and the Fury faces Team Dragon Gate. 6-Pac answers Human Tornado's challenge. Arik Cannon debuts versus the also debuting Delikado and Ricky Banderas SPEAKS! -Opening montage. - Jibbs performs. -Clips of the fireball angle from the last show. This leads into the Banderas promo (w/subtitles, even though he speaks decently clean English). Apparently, Vampiro is the cause of his facial scarring after he rigged Banderas' coffin to explode. What is it with Vamp and exploding coffins? He promises Vamp that his days are numbered. Team Dragon Gate v. The Filth and the Fury - Teddy Hart and Yoshino open with a quick armdrag sequence. MTV's Wrestling Society X - Pilot Episode (1.26.07)

So, the great MTV wrestling experiment has finally arrived on my television. What I expect going in: Zero. Zilch. Nada. Nothing. At best, it'll be stupid spotty fun that feels like it flies by in seconds. At worst, it'll be stupid spotty fun that's so stupid that it'll wrap back around to awesomeness. Seriously, I think this show is an absolute no loss formula. Great roster of young guys, a few vets that can still go and fuck…it's New Jack . NEW JACK! On MTV. In 2007. That's quality right there. -We get some goofiness right off the bat, as MTV doesn't seem to know which show it wants to play. We get a minute or so from the preview of this coming season of Two-a-Days, then switch to your regularly scheduled Wrestling Society X programming. Weird.
