SmackDown! 8/4/2005: For and Against
FOR: The "Peep Show!" Tremendous!
FOR: "Who's your daddy?" OUCH.
FOR: Eddie making Rey sweat it out.
AGAINST: That's a little more than a blemish, Jillian.
FOR: Well, at least she knows it's there.
FOR: Nice to know the TelePrompter's working tonight.
AGAINST: This promo -- it's just not all that good and I don't know what she was going for here.
FOR: Booker's reaction.
AGAINST: Do Mercury and Nitro go outside in those things?
FOR: "It's 100 degrees in Bridgeport tonight and they're wearing fur coats." THANK YOU, Michael Cole.
FOR: Tazz as amateur dermatologist.
FOR: Nitro pulling Mercury out of the sharpshooter attempt.
WHAT?: "She could've taken a piece of her face off and thrown it at Benoit."
FOR: Benoit's armdrag counter out of the rear chinlock.
FOR: The Crossface on the floor. Keeps the other man out of the ring.
FOR: Multiple valet interference~~
AGAINST: The camera angle when Mercury rolled Booker up -- I couldn't tell if he had the ropes or not.
FOR: Good match, though.
FOR: Well, Christian's getting his main event.
AGAINST: That's kind of a shifty-looking contract.
FOR: Batista breaking the horn ornament like it's nothing.
AGAINST: That's just shoddy construction right there.
FOR: Batista and JBL's back-and-forth.
FOR: Batista's rationale for leaving the stipulation up to JBL, especially in the context of the above.
FOR: I like how Batista's being portrayed now as a guy who's smarter than he looks.
AGAINST: That's two contract signings Batista's done and nobody's caught a beatdown. What's happening to this company?
FOR: Heidenreich in the face paint. If they're gonna go all the way with this...
AGAINST: Orton not going all the way in the resume battle. Bring up Bundy! Bring up Jake! Bring up A-Train, for God's sake. Make yourself look good!
FOR: Orton bouncing around the ring after calling out UT, making sure he's got his back covered.
FOR: Rey returning the "punking out from behind" favor.
FOR: Who's that woman?
FOR: Christian's 619 counter.
FOR: Tazz and Cole wondering if maybe she's the mother.
FOR: Christian's dropkick to block the springboard whatever.
AGAINST: Those ain't the ribs, Cole.
FOR: Eddie making Rey read "Chapter Two."
FOR: Eddie got a court order?
FOR: Rey's promo.
FOR: Ah, she's his lawyer.
AGAINST: Eddie's response was getting dangerously close to Lifetime Movie Of The Week territory at the end.
FOR: "Who's your daddy?" OUCH.
