WSoP Main Event: Day 5

We're down to the final 3 tables of the big event, folks. The remainder of the tournament moves to Binion's Horseshoe Casino. Play is set to kick off for today in about 4 hours or so. Here's the complete list of players left, as well as their chip counts.

19. Tiffany Williamson (London, UK) $1.125M

25. John McGrane (London, UK) $575K
26. Shahram Shublem (Las Vegas, NV) $310K
27. Ayhan Alsancak (Goteborg, Sweden) $225K

Tiffany Williamson is apparently turning into the poker equivalent of Mike Hargrove. Hargrove's nickname from his playing days was "The Human Rain Delay" because he'd take forever to re-adjust after every pitch he'd see during an at-bat. Apparently Miss (Ms.? Mrs.?) Williamson has had the clock called on her a few times for taking as long as 10 minutes tomake a decision on what to do with her hand at a given point. Not a good way to endear yourself to your fellow players.

How incredible would it be if Fossilman, Matusow, and Ivey all made the final table? Hell, if Fossilman and Matusow alone both made it, there would be great entertainment value to be had, given their confrontation from last year's Main Event. I can't wait for ESPN's coverage to air. Apparently that kicks off on 19 July, but I'm sure it'll be a while before they get to the Main Event.

By the end of play today, we'll have our final table. And, remember, for the best damn live Main Event coverage on the Intarweb, be sure to check out Tao of Poker.
